what you should know about soil and how soil is ideal for planting.

The soil derived from weathering (erosion) of the rocks of the earth's surface. Disintegration such liability  as the sea, the sun, the rain and many other factors. The soil when not cultivated, enriched. All soils is formed in the same way. Ιn soil where lived  more animals and plants ,enriched depending soils with nutrients, as many of them were transported by the waters of the rains in the valleys, while elsewhere the mountains remained limestone etc. A basic component of soil cultivation is soil water and other determinants thereof factors such as sunlight, the wind and humidity that the soil keeps.

Soils Categories
  1. Sandy Soils It is loose and fluffy, easy to culture. The water, the sun and the air pass through them easily and in greater depth. winter quickly cooled in summer very hot. Plants that do not have deep roots, but find a lot of nutrients in these territories and supported firmly when blowing strong wind, pouring down or uproots and when they catch heat, cease to grow The sandy soils lose their drawbacks are, if the shuffle with adobe, so are Clay +Sandy with digested manure.
  2. Clay or Red soilsThese soils have a high consistency and difficult pass through the deep water, the sun and the wind.In the summer keep humidity, but on hot days long burst, creating deep cracks.  manure  digested or undigested recommended.
  3. Limestone Soils These are derived from limestone and have the disadvantages of clay soils. Corrected, if we add the sand or dung as loamy. (definitely not recommended for Κiwi crops.)
  4. Humus Soils These have many organic substances and their color is dark (brown). It's fluffy and easy to culture. Retain heat in winter and cool in summer. It is the most suitable areas for cultivation and its soil can enrich other poor soils (clay, sand and limestone). We enriched with phosphorus  or other chemical fertilizers.

How can i plant?

It's very simple.. following the measurements we have made in our field (line by line, and tree by tree).  as we have done the holes at the point where we have measured we can start the planting.

 1. Place the tree in the hole with the ''eye'' of the tree to look always in the north. (Traditional Greek method to exchange pollen with the air from a male tree to a female tree.)

2. Throw in the hole the burnt soil, The  soil that has been burnt dry and fluffy from the sun,  then press the soil to shut down all the resources. Αnd ensure that the plant be in  a straight position.

3. Cover the trunk of the plant with the soil has been left to create a small knoll around the trunk. This soil with the rain will become one straight layer.
